God the Father: We believe that God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is both God and man, two natures in one person. Jesus is the mediator between God and man and salvation comes only through repentance, faith and trust in Christ.
The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit lives inside all believers and teaches, comforts, and empowers us for special service to others. Fostering interdependence, Christ-like character, and genuine love.
The Bible: We believe that the Bible is God's Holy Word to us, our Owner's Manual for life, and is the complete and final authority for our beliefs and behavior.
Salvation: We believe that God freely offers salvation and eternal life to all who are truly sorry for their wrongdoing and graciously receive, through faith, the forgiveness God has made available because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Ordinances: We believe that the Bible teaches that there are two ordinances that Jesus taught us to do that would help us to remember what He did, and identify us with Him: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Neither has any part in salvation.
Baptism: When a person conciously decides to be a true follower of Jesus, the public expression of that inward choice is an act of Christian discipleship, being baptized by immersion in water, as was Jesus himself.
Lord's Supper: A symbolic act of obedience where believers memorialize the death of Christ and anticipate his return.
Discipleship: We believe that Christians should become fully devoted, passionate, Jesus followers. This commitment is lived out through developing a personal relationship with God, public and private worship, and a serious effort to becoming more like Jesus in both belief and behavior, and through serving others.
